2012 chrysler 300 release date

The brand new 2012 Chrysler 300 has proved to be very camera-shy, despite being one of the most anticipated cars of the moment. But Chrysler has finally released a set of photos for the new 2012 Chrysler 300, so now we can enjoy looking at its LED lights and elegant lines. Chrysler Group has not released any technical information about the redesigned of this Next-Generation Chrysler 300, but the 2012 Chrysler 300 engine lineup is expected to be similar to that of its Dodge Charger twin. The new 2012 Chrysler 300 specifications include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 develops 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque when under the hood of the Charger, while the old 5.7-liter HEMI V8 should also be introduced to the new 2012 Chrysler 300. The 2012 Chrysler 300 model is expected to go on sale in the States starting around the spring of 2011.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 took a leap forward in refinement, but the large sedan’s makeover didn’t come with an Chrysler 300 2012 SRT8 variant. There’s a lot to go over on this new 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8, but we wouldn’t waste a vowel before talking power. The new Chrysler 300 2012 SRT8, the highest-performing model ever in Chrysler’s lineup, boasts a massive Brembo brakes, lightweight forged wheels, countless hours of suspension tuning and a slew of cosmetic goodies.

What’s more, that upgraded output is also more usable for 2012, as the 2012 Chrysler 300 test drive tells us we can expect an additional 80 lb-ft of torque at 2,900 rpm, which translates into more thrust from a standstill. How much? Official estimates are 0-60 “in the high four-second range,” and a quarter-mile time of fewer than 13 seconds and will top out at 175 mph. The all-new, more powerful and damn sharp-looking 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 is debuting today at the 2011 New York Auto Show.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 variant sits a half-inch lower than the standard 300 on 20-inch alloy wheels, lending it a more imposing stance. Out back, there’s a new chrome-accented lower fascia and dual 4-inch-diameter exhaust pipes.

The available Black Chrome package adds black chrome grille surrounds, rear valance, and exclusive black chrome wheels on the 2012 Chrysler 300. As its performance-themed halo machine, the 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 is an important car for Chrysler, which has aggressively revamped much of its lineup over the past year. With Chrysler 300 2012 price starting at $45,000, many were expecting Chrysler’s upcoming eight-speed automatic to make a debut for the 2012 Chrysler 300 model year, it’s looking like we’re still going to have to wait a little while longer.
