New Honda Civic 2012 Release Date

The North American International Auto Show is indeed one of the most prestigious international events that is highly anticipated by many people from the global automotive industry. This is actually an event where thousands of people will be able to see around 30-40 vehicle debuts and even car concepts. It basically gives us an idea of wherethe global automotive industry will be headed to. The auto show is joined by the big names in the industry such as Toyota, Ford, Porsche, Mitsubishi, Honda and a lot more. For this year, the Detroit Auto Show has started last January 10 with a press preview and will be running up to January 23, 2011.






And speaking of new car concepts, Honda just introduced its 2012 Honda Civic Si Concept Coupe and Civic Concept Sedan at the opening day of the 2011 DetroitAuto Show . This is actually the ninth generation of the Honda Civic, which is expected to go on sale starting this spring as a 2012 model. As mentioned, under the Honda Civic Si concept, two models will be available and that includes the coupe and the sedan. In addition to this, the 2012 Honda Civic will also be available in multiple engine choices as well like conventional gasoline, hybrid and natural gas drivetrains. Apparently, its hybrid version will also mark the first time for Honda for using lithium-ion batteries.
